GRANT COUNTY, Ind. — Two people are dead after a crash in Grant County.
At 11:13 p.m. on Friday, March 1, Grant County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a crash involving two vehicles in the 5900 block of Strawtown Pike, also known as State Road 37.
When officials arrived, they found the two vehicles involved in the crash. Both occupants of one of the vehicles were pronounced dead on the scene. The other driver was found on the ground near the crash and was taken to a local hospital.
During the investigation, officials learned that one of the vehicles was heading northbound on SR-37 when it overcorrected and spun out of control into an oncoming car.
The names of the victims will be released by the Grant County Coroner once the family is notified.
