56-year-old woman killed in crash on Indy's near northeast side

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of North Keystone Avenue.

INDIANAPOLIS — One woman was killed and two others were injured in a head-on collision on the near northeast side of Indianapolis early Saturday morning.

IMPD officers responded to a report of a crash involving a pickup truck and car in the 2600 block of North Keystone Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Feb. 3.

According to IMPD, a woman was driving the car southbound on Keystone Avenue when it struck the pickup truck with two men inside.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The other passenger was checked out at the scene by medics and released.

The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 56-year-old Deborah Denise Hamblin.
