CARMEL, Ind. — A crash on the north side shut down traffic on I-465 Thursday night.
According to INDOT, the crash involving a semi occurred in the westbound lanes of the interstate near US 31 in Carmel. Police closed the westbound lanes of the interstate around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, diverting traffic onto US 31 to get around the crash.
The Carmel Fire Department tweeted photos of the crash scene recorded by INDOT cameras, which showed debris spilled across the interstate.
A zoomed-in view of the items in the roadway appeared to show cases of Cholula Hot Sauce sitting on the highway.
There was also a report of a possible injury in the crash, but there was no further information provided.
The interstate reopened around midnight.
