INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is larger than life in a new display downtown.
Clark's image is now staring down from the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis as part of Gatorade's "Is It In You" campaign. The black-and-white photo includes the Gatorade and Indiana Fever logos in the lower corner.
Crews began installing the massive signage earlier this week.
The east face of the JW Marriott has become a regular canvas celebrating Indianapolis sports. Artwork commemorating the 2012 Super Bowl, a giant NCAA Tournament bracket, the 2024 NBA All-Star Game and numerous Indianapolis 500s have been installed on the side of the 33-story hotel.
Most recently, the hotel welcomed guests to the U.S. Olympic Swimming Team Trials, which were held in downtown Indianapolis last week.
Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in this year's WNBA draft, is averaging 16.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists through the first 18 games of her pro career. Her assists per game average is fourth in the WNBA.
The Fever are currently 7-11 on the season, 1/2 game out of a playoff spot as they near the midway point of their 40-game schedule.
Indiana travels to Seattle on Thursday night to face the Storm. Tip-off is scheduled for 10 p.m. and the game can be seen live on MeTV (WALV, Channel 13.3 or 46.1).
