Keys to victory over the Atlanta Dream | Fever Minute

It's the first regular-season matchup between the two teams this year.

INDIANAPOLIS — For just the second time this month, the Indiana Fever are back at home on June 13.

They are taking on the Atlanta Dream. It's the first regular-season matchup between the two teams this year.

Here are three keys to victory for Thursday's matchup.

  1. Quieting the Dream - Indiana played Atlanta during the pre-season and won 83-80. Now, however, Atlanta is currently sixth in the league. The Dream is also a good road team, coming in at 3-1 during away games. For the Fever, quieting players like Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard will be key.
  2. Using the bench - In the Fever's June 10 game against the Connecticut Sun, the Fever's bench outscored the Sun's bench by 11 points. Lexie Hull checked into the game and logged 10 of those points. Using Indiana's skilled and experienced bench could benefit the Fever against the Dream.
  3. Playing up homecourt advantage - The Fever are coming up on three back-to-back home games, starting June 13. Plus, it is only the second time Indiana will dress as the home team so far this month. Fans are anxious to get inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse, so the "Caitlin Clark Effect" should be out in full-force.

Tipoff against the Dream is set for 7 p.m.

Fans can purchase tickets online or watch it live on WTHR.
