INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever's sole home preseason game has been rescheduled after the Indiana Pacers advanced in the NBA playoffs.
The Fever's game against the Atlanta Dream, originally scheduled for Friday, May 10, has been moved to Thursday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the team announced.
"Tickets for Friday's game will be valid for Thursday's rescheduled date," the team said in its announcement.
The Pacers will host the New York Knicks at 7 p.m. May 10 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. The team defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in six games to clinch its first playoff series in 10 years.
The Caitlin Clark era for the Fever begins Friday, May 3 when the team makes its preseason debut in Dallas.
The Fever and Wings will play at 8 p.m., and the game is available to watch for free on the WNBA app. Three other preseason games, including the rescheduled contest, will also be broadcast for free on the league's app.
The WNBA app can be downloaded for free via Google Play or the App Store.
The Fever open the regular season on Tuesday, May 14 at Connecticut.
As the Local TV Home of the Indiana Fever, WTHR/WALV will broadcast 16 Fever games during the upcoming season.
The broadcast schedule will include the home opener against the New York Liberty on Thursday, May 16.
Ten of the games will be shown for free over the air on WTHR, and six of the games will be on WALV, which carries MeTV programming and is on Channel 13.3 and 46.1.
