Fever's Caitlin Clark named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Caitlin Clark previously received WNBA Rookie of the Month honors in May and July.

INDIANAPOLIS — The WNBA is recognizing Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark with a weekly honor.

The league named Clark the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week during the Aug. 15-25 portion of the regular season. 

Clark previously received WNBA Rookie of the Month honors in May and July.

In the Fever's first three games after the Olympic break, Clark ranked third among all players in the WNBA for scoring, averaging 25.0 points per game, along with 9.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds.

She recently became the franchise rookie leader in made 3-point field goals with 81, as well as passing Ticha Penicheiro's record of 224 assists as a rookie.

Clark is one of three players in franchise history to score at least 500 points in a rookie season, alongside teammate Aliyah Boston and legend Tamika Catchings.

The Fever's next game is against the Connecticut Sun Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Fever on WTHR and WALV 

As the Local TV Home of the Indiana Fever, WTHR/WALV will broadcast more than a dozen Fever games during the season.

Ten of the games will be shown for free over the air on WTHR, and five of the games will be on WALV, which carries MeTV programming and is on Channel 13.3 and 46.1.

How do I watch Indiana Fever games on WTHR?

There are a number of ways!

1. Using an HD antenna.

The 10 games on WTHR be broadcast on 13.1 and available for free over the air using an HD antenna connected to your TV.
