Peyton Manning, Caitlin Clark hit red carpet for 'Full Court Press' premiere

The four-part series went behind the scenes of last year's NCAA women's basketball season.

INDIANAPOLIS — Peyton Manning and Caitlin Clark shared the same red carpet Monday in Indianapolis for the world premiere of Manning's new series, "Full Court Press."

The four-part series chronicles the journey of Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, South Carolina center Kamilla Cardoso and UCLA's Kiki Rice.

Manning and Clark attended the premiere at Newfields, along with a galaxy of stars from the WNBA and college basketball, including Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings and South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley.

But it was obvious from the young fans on the red carpet and in the theatre the biggest star was the Fever's No. 1 draft pick.

Clark told the audience at the premiere that growing up with brothers inspired her love for basketball.

"I had an older brother that played every sport. I just begged to go to his practices, no matter what they were," Clark said. "I wanted to be the little girl dribbling the basketball like all the boys. The first team I was on was an all-boys team."

"Full Court Press" promises exclusive interviews and unparalleled behind-the-scenes access to the three players.

"We all thought it would be a special season. But we now know we caught lightning in a bottle," director Kristen Lappas said. "I think it exceeded all of our expectations of what this season would be."

"I think people are going to be fascinated with how hard these women work," Manning said. "All they had to go through, the behind the ropes access we were able to get. The three of them trusting us to be a fly on the wall. We're excited it's finally here."

The series premieres this weekend on ESPN+.
