KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Another Hoosier is heading to Paris!
Sarah Bacon earned her spot in her first Olympic Games Monday night in Knoxville. Bacon and teammate Kassidy Cook won the 3-meter synchro competition at the U.S. Olympic Diving Team Trials in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The pair won the finals by more than 30 points over Alison Gibson and Krysta Palmer.
Bacon, a 2015 Cardinal Ritter High School graduate, won state titles in 2013 and 2014 and earned All-American honors at the University of Minnesota in 2018.
She is also competing in the individual 3-meter competition. The preliminary and quarterfinal events are scheduled for Thursday, June 20, with the final scheduled for Saturday, June 22.
