INDIANAPOLIS — While the Indianapolis Colts are out of the playoffs this year, there's still a few teams that you might want to root for if you're a Popeyes fan.
The fried chicken restaurant is launching its "Wings for Wings" promotion for the NFL playoffs. It's offering customers free six-piece wings with any online or in-app purchase if a football team that wins the big game has wings in its name, logo or on its mascot.
This means that if the Ravens, Eagles or Bills win, customers get free wings.
The promotion celebrates the permanent launch of wings at Popeyes with five flavors; ghost pepper, sweet 'n spicy, honey BBQ, roasted garlic parmesan and "signature hot."
The offer will be redeemable on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 13, as a nod to the brand's New Orleans roots.
