The NFL is about to start a season without Johnny Football, because he's going back to the place where he earned that nickname.
According to Ben Baby of the Dallas Morning News, former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has re-enrolled at Texas A&M for the fall semester.
Manziel's social media pegged him as being in College Station, Texas, recently, sparking the speculation.
Manziel was a recreation, parks and tourism sciences major when he was playing for the Aggies.
The Browns cut him in March, after his arrest on domestic violence charges. That was followed by a summer of partying and then a pledge of sobriety, and the realization that he wasn’t going to get back to the NFL this year. Should he return to the league, he'll start by serving a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.
