INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor's status is "in doubt" after he suffered an injured thumb in the team's Week 12 matchup, according to a report from NFL Network.
Taylor, who sparked the team's 27-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a 91-yard, two touchdown performance, will require further evaluation for the injury, and "all options" are being considered, according to the report.
A later report from The Athletic said Colts owner Jim Irsay told them Taylor will get surgery on Wednesday and be out 2-3 weeks.
The Colts will likely turn to running back Zack Moss in his place.
The Colts improved to 6-5 with Sunday's victory and will face the Tennessee Titans on the road Sunday, Dec. 3.
