Lucas Oil Stadium roof to be closed for Colts game against Dolphins

INDIANAPOLIS — The roof will be closed at Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday, according to Indianapolis Colts team owner Jim Irsay. 

He made the announcement just after 11 a.m. Oct. 20. 

In a post on social media, Irsay said that the roof would be closed "due to operational issues." However, the window will be open. 

The Colts face off against the Miami Dolphins at 1 p.m.

The themes will be Kicking the Stigma Game and Ring of Honor induction of Dallas Clark. There will be mental health friendship bracelets and #44 Dallas Clark rally towels available for giveaway. The Dallas Clark Ring of Honor celebration will happen at halftime.  

Here's the schedule for the Colts home games this season:

  • Sunday, Nov. 10 - Colts vs. Bills
  • Sunday, Nov. 24 - Colts vs. Lions
  • Sunday, Dec. 22 - Colts vs. Titans
  • Week 18 (TBA) - Colts vs. Jaguars
