INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts have trimmed down their roster in preparation for the upcoming season.
Tuesday was "cut day" in the NFL, requiring teams to get their rosters down to 53 players.
Among the notable names cut by the Colts on Tuesday were wide receivers D.J. Montgomery and Laquon Treadwell, as well as cornerback Chris Lammonds.
Indianapolis also waived running back Evan Hull and quarterback Jason Bean, among others.
Here's how the team's 53-man roster shapes up, less than two weeks before the season opener:

Defensive end Samson Ebukam and linebacker Cameron McGrone were placed on the injured reserve list (designated for return), while wide receiver Juwann Winfree and tight end Jelani Woods were placed on the injured reserve list. The Colts announced Tuesday Woods would miss his second straight season with an injury.
Indianapolis opens the season against the Houston Texans on Sunday, Sept. 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
