INDIANAPOLIS — While Indianapolis Colts fans are likely still feeling the sting of Saturday night's heartbreaking loss to the Texans, the team's future is already starting to take shape.
As the NFL's regular season concludes, the order of picks 1-18 in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft have been announced.
Indianapolis will pick 15th overall when the draft takes place in Detroit, April 25-27. According to the NFL's website, the Colts' biggest needs are mainly defensive positions. Free agency could deplete Indy's defensive line and backfield, leaving gaps at the defensive tackle, cornerback and linebacker positions.
The Chicago Bears will pick first overall in the draft, thanks to a March trade with the Carolina Panthers that allowed Carolina to select quarterback Bryce Young first overall in the 2023 draft.
Picking second will be the Washington Commanders, followed by the New England Patriots. For a full list of draft positions 1-18, click here.
