INDIANAPOLIS — The wait for the Indianapolis Colts' 2024 schedule is over.
The NFL released the slate for the upcoming season Wednesday night.
The Colts open the season at home against AFC South rival Houston on Sept. 8 before traveling to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. Following home games against Chicago and Pittsburgh, Indianapolis travels to Jacksonville and Tennessee to finish the first half of their AFC South games.
Miami comes to Lucas Oil Stadium on Oct. 20 before the Colts hit the road for games at Houston and Minnesota while Taylor Swift's Eras Tour takes over their home venue.
The second half of the slate starts with a home game against the Buffalo Bills, followed by the Colts' lone primetime game on the 2024 schedule, a Sunday Night Football contest against the Jets at Met Life Stadium. That game will air live on Channel 13.
Indianapolis hosts Detroit to start Thanksgiving week, then travels to New England to face the Patriots on Dec. 1.
The home stretch of the schedule features home games against Tennessee and Jacksonville on either side of a return trip to New Jersey to face the Giants at Met Life Stadium.
The dates of the Giants and Jaguars games to finish the season have not yet been determined.
Single-game tickets for Colts home games went on sale Wednesday night.
The team also announced its three-game preseason schedule Wednesday. The Colts will play two games at home, facing Denver at 1 p.m. on Aug. 11 and Arizona at 7 p.m. on Aug. 17. That game will be a homecoming of sorts for Cardinals rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., whose Hall of Fame father won a Super Bowl with the Colts.
Indianapolis will close the preseason schedule on Aug. 22 in Cincinnati.
