INDIANAPOLIS — Colts General Manager Chris Ballard briefly addressed owner Jim Irsay's health with the media on Wednesday.
During a press conference ahead of the NFL Combine, Indianapolis Colts GM Chris Ballard was asked about the health of Jim Irsay and whether or not any new updates could be provided.
Irsay tweeted Feb. 6 that he was "on the mend," but no further updates have been provided since.
"We stay in touch," Ballard said. "He is progressing well. We are talking, Shane (Steichen) and I have talked to him multiple times, and we keep him abreast of everything."
Ballard reassured media members that he and head coach Shane Steichen would not do anything without Irsay's approval.
"We still keep him in the loop," Ballard said. "You know him, man, he wants to know, he loves his team. He's making his way, and he's doing well, getting better."
