Colts announce 2024 public training camp schedule

The camp kicks off July 25 and allows fans to experience 12 open practices, including theme days and the return of Colts City.

WESTFIELD, Ind. — Excitement is building as the Indianapolis Colts announced the 2024 season training camp schedule Wednesday.

The camp kicks off July 25 and allows fans to experience 12 open practices, including theme days, the return of Colts City, joint practices with the Arizona Cardinals and much more.

The training camp goes through Aug. 15 and takes place at Grand Park in Westfield.

For seven of the 12 practice dates, tickets are free for all fans. Tickets for the other five practices – July 27 and 28 and Aug. 4, 14 and 15 – will be free for fans 17 and under and $5 for people 18 and older. Even though the tickets are free for children, tickets must be downloaded to attend.

All proceeds will benefit the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. The organization plans to use the money to support its new flag football league.

Colts leaders say the support is something that will expand kids' opportunities.

"It's really important for us," Colts Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Roger VanDerSnick said. "We know when kids participate in football, they become fans. We've spent years working in this space, and we're going to continue to do it because it's just crucial to football and football in Indiana."

The camp is also an opportunity for local businesses to take advantage of the influx of tourists.

"We love the evening practices and the weekend practices because we do have a lot of people come into Westfield," Westfield Mayor Scott Willis said. "They spend the night in Westfield, they eat at our restaurants, which is an economic engine for our community."

The Colts kick off their regular season on Sept. 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Houston Texans.

Tickets for the training camp must be acquired in advance and can be found here. Parking costs are $5 per vehicle in advance and $10 at the event.
