INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Colts running back Nyheim Hines has earned the honor of AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after his impressive Week 16 performance against the Carolina Panthers.
Hines returned two of three punts for touchdowns. He totaled 195 yards on punt returns. The performance broke franchise records for punt return yards, punt return average (65), and punt return touchdowns in a single game.
It's the first time Hines has won the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honor.
He is the fourth Colts player this season who has earned AFC Player of the Week honors:

- Jacoby Brissett: Week 7 AFC Offensive Player of the Week
