New banner at Indianapolis Motor Speedway entrance celebrates 3 decades of Brickyard champions

The 30th Brickyard 400 is just 32 days away.

The Brickyard 400 is just 32 days away. On Tuesday, we got a look at what fans will see when they enter the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

A new banner commemorates the 30th anniversary of the inaugural Brickyard 400 in 1994. Indiana's Jeff Gordon won that race.

The banner also honors past Brickyard winners, including Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch and the late Dale Earnhardt Sr.

"We went away from the oval for a few years and we were on the road course in 2021, and now to bring it back on the oval ... we have gotten an amazing response from our fans and they are really excited to see them back on the oval," said Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles. "This car, this version of the NASCAR car never competed on our oval, so it will be interesting to see how it does."

Rain canceled an event planned for unveiling the banner Tuesday.

You can watch the Brickyard 400 on Sunday, July 21 right here on Channel 13.
