- DePauw defeated Rose-Hulman 57-14.
- Franklin lost to Ohio Northern 45-7.
- Hanover lost to Centre 27-12.
- Indiana defeated Western Illinois 77-3 on Sept. 6.
- Indiana State lost to Eastern Illinois 27-20.
- Indiana Wesleyan defeated St. Francis 52-14.
- Manchester lost to Westminster College 23-3.
- Marian defeated Siena Heights 31-9.
- Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois 16-14.
- Taylor defeated Olivet Nazarene 58-51 in OT.
- Trine lost to Christopher Newport 42-6.

The Purdue Boilermakers were the only Indiana-based college football team not to play this week. Their next scheduled game is against Notre Dame at home on Sept. 14 at 3:30 p.m.
