INDIANAPOLIS — It was another great time for Indiana Pacers fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Sunday.
Indiana won in a blowout 121-89 against the New York Knicks in front of a sea of blue and gold. Fans called the atmosphere inside electric.
“The Pacers started out hitting a lot of threes. It was great in there,” one Pacers fan said.
After the game, Knicks fans flooded out of Gainbridge Fieldhouse looking to move forward in the next game Tuesday.
“Honestly, everyone played well at least on the Pacers team. My team, we going to have to sit down and talk about the next game, but it’s a good time," sid one Knicks fan said after the game.
“The Knicks are playing terrible right now, but Pacers fans are really nice. We are from Virginia. We came out to support the Knicks, but we love the Pacer culture. You guys are great fans,” another Knicks fan said.
The rivalry remained friendly between the fans.
Now, the Pacers are heading back to New York all tied up at two games a piece, and Pacers fans said they’re ready to take it all.
That pivotal Game 5 is Tuesday at the iconic Madison Square Garden. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.
