IMS offering free Friday admission with purchase of Brickyard 400 ticket

The Brickyard 400 weekend is July 19-21. Fans who purchase a ticket to Saturday's Pennzoil 250 or Sunday's Brickyard 400 will receive free Friday admission.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Brickyard 400 will be a three-day event when it returns in July for the first time since the 2020 NASCAR season

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has announced the schedule for the Brickyard weekend, coming later this summer on July 19-21. Practice for both the Xfinity Series Pennzoil 250 and the Cup Series Brickyard 400 will take place in the afternoon of Friday, July 19.

Fans who purchase a ticket to either race will be given a complementary ticket to Friday's practice sessions.

Qualifying for both races will take place on Saturday, July 20. The Pennzoil 250 is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. that afternoon.

The Brickyard 400 is scheduled for Sunday, July 21 at 2:30 p.m.

“With the return to the oval and celebration of NASCAR’s 30th anniversary at IMS, it’s only fitting that fans can enjoy three days of on-track action,” said IMS president Doug Boles. “As a thank you to our fans who have tickets to Saturday’s Pennzoil 250 presented by Advance Auto Parts or Sunday’s Brickyard 400 presented by PPG, they can add Friday to their Brickyard Weekend plans for no additional cost. And – as always – 15 and under are free!”

For fans only interested in attending Friday's practice session, tickets can be purchased for $25. Saturday tickets start at $35 while general admission for the Brickyard 400 can be purchased for $40.

Tickets can be purchased on the IMS website.
