INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced April 3 the launch of its official ticket marketplace, intended to provide fans with a safe and secure way to buy and sell Indianapolis 500 tickets.
Race fans who purchase a race day ticket from the IMS ticket office will be eligible to list their ticket on the marketplace in the event they are unable to attend. IMS says the original ticket holder will retain the rights to renew their tickets even after selling.
“On the IMS Marketplace, fans know transactions are secure, and tickets are authentic and guaranteed. They also have the full support of the IMS Ticket Office team should questions arise at any point in the buying or selling process," IMS President Doug Boles said. "One of the best parts about using the IMS Marketplace is our fans who are unable to join us on race day still maintain their IMS seniority and maintain the ability to renew tickets that have always been in their names.”
The 108th Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for Sunday, May 26. Click here to visit the IMS Ticket Marketplace.
