INDIANAPOLIS — With the largest purse in the history of the Indianapolis 500, the checks distributed at this year's Victory Celebration carry a little higher value than year's past.
Josef Newgarden was awarded over $4 million of the nearly $18.5 million purse, while second-place finisher Pato O'Ward will take home a little over $1 million.
