INDIANAPOLIS — We're about a month away from the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500, and signs of the race are beginning to appear around the city.
Street signs, to be precise.
Downtown Indy, Inc. is giving some street corners a makeover with help from Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles.
On Wednesday, he put a sign up near the Indiana Statehouse. It's the first sign of the year to help promote this year's race.
This year's race is scheduled for Sunday, May 26.
