BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke is out indefinitely with a thumb injury, the program announced Sunday.

In Saturday's game, Rourke injured his right (throwing) hand and was on the sideline in street clothes in the second half. Tayven Jackson replaced him for the rest of the game.

Thamel said Rourke will return this season but the "timetable isn’t clear yet."

The Hoosiers are now 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the Big Ten. They have yet to trail in a game.
