Indianapolis to host 2027, 2028 NCAA D-II Men's and Woman's Swimming and Diving Championships

The Hoosier State has previously hosted 37 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships across three divisions.

INDIANAPOLIS — Two more major sporting events are coming to the Circle City.

Indianapolis will serve as host for the 2027 and 2028 Division II Men's and Woman's Swimming and Diving Championships, the NCAA announced Wednesday.

Indiana Sports Corp, which will serve as a host for the events along with the Great Lakes Valley Conference, said 15 regional and national championships will take place in Indiana during the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons.

The Hoosier State has previously hosted 37 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships across three divisions, Indiana Sports Corp said, also noting that 2028 will also feature the Women's Final Four and Division II and III Woman's Basketball National Championships in Indy.

That will mark the second time Indianapolis has hosted all three women's basketball national championships in the same weekend.
