INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts will be without tight end Jelani Woods for a second straight season, according to multiple reports.
ESPN and The Athletic both reported Tuesday, Aug. 27 that the team plans to put the 2022 third round draft pick on season-ending injured reserve after a recent toe surgery.
Woods, who played collegiately for Oklahoma State and Virginia, where he was named first-team All-ACC, missed all of last season due to repeated hamstring injuries.
Woods hasn't played for the Colts since his 2022 rookie year, when he caught 25 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns.
