FISHERS, Ind. — Friday night's Operation Football Game of the Week takes the 13Sports crew up to Hamilton County for the Mudsock rivalry game between Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern.
That means this week's Band of the Week is the Hamilton Southeastern Royal Command and Guard!
The HSE RCG competes in the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Open Class A circuit in addition to participating in Bands of America (BOA). The band is led by director Audrey Torres and assistant director Tyler Davis and is under the direction of drum majors Dylan Balka, Riley Meggenhofen and Kayla Wease, according to INBands.com.
Last week, the band performed in the Brownsburg Invitational for their first competition of the year. The HSE RCG placed seventh in Open Class A with a score of 67.750.
Their 2024 show is titled "Finding DiREction" and is broken into four musical segments: "REflect," "REinvent," "REmembER" and "REnew." The show will feature two music selections composed by John Williams.
