FISHERS, Ind. — High school basketball is in full swing across central Indiana and one of Friday's best games was a matchup of Hamilton County rivals.
The Mudsock Game featured Hamilton Southeastern hosting Fishers, and it did not disappoint.
It was a sold-out gym for the intra-district clash. Fishers sits atop the Class 4A standings, undefeated through six games.
With time ticking down in the first quarter, Fishers' Millen McCartney hit from half-court to put the Tigers up 16-14.
Things continued to click for Fishers in the second quarter and they went into the locker room at halftime leading, 40-35.
It was back and forth throughout the second half. Nathaniel Orr hit a pull-up jumper for HSE, but Fishers was able to maintain a five-point margin at the end of the third quarter, 49-44.
The Tigers put their foot on the gas and this one ended with Fishers staying undefeated with a 64-57 win.
