INDIANA, USA — Nine Indiana high school basketball players have been nominated to participate in the McDonald's All-American Games on April 2 in Houston.
In a Jan. 11 press release, organizers of the All-American Games announced 724 of the nation's top high school basketball players have been nominated to participate in April's games. The list of nominees will be narrowed to 48 players before the final 24-player rosters are revealed Jan. 24.
This year's Indiana nominees are:
Boys:
- Flory Bidunga – Kokomo High School
- Anthony Fields – Cathedral High School
- Evan Haywood – Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Girls:
- Jordyn Poole – Fort Wayne Snider High School
- Chloe Spreen – Bedford North Lawrence High School
- Reagan Wilson – Noblesville High School
- Rachel Wirts – Center Grove High School
- Faith Wiseman – Indian Creek Senior High School
- Juliann Woodard – Jennings County High School, North Vernon
Players are nominated by a high school coach, athletic director, principal or member of the selection committee.
The girls' game is set to tip off Tuesday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m., with the boys' game scheduled that night at 9:30 p.m.
