INDIANAPOLIS — The Big Ten Conference has released its conference-only schedule for the 2020 football season.
Each team will play 10 games over at least 12 weeks, with each team having two bye weeks.
Games will begin as early as Sept. 5, and the final games are scheduled for Nov. 21 to align with academic calendars.
The Big Ten Football Championship Game remains scheduled for Dec. 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, though it could be moved as late as Dec. 19.
IU opens the season Sept. 5 on the road at Wisconsin, and Purdue will start the abbreviated schedule Sept. 5 at Michigan.
The two in-state rivals will meet in each team's final regular season game Nov. 21 in Bloomington.
