INDIANAPOLIS — Schedule release videos are the hot item in the sports world these days and the men on the IU Indianapolis men's basketball team have the spiciest one out there.

The Jaguars unveiled their schedule for the upcoming season with a trip downtown to St. Elmo Steak House. While first-year head coach Paul Corsaro, a graduate of Roncalli High School and the University of Indianapolis, said he has been at the iconic restaurant hundreds of times, it was the first visit for each member of his team.

Dressed in their game uniforms, the team sat down one by one at a table with a dish of St. Elmo's famous shrimp cocktail.

Then they tried to read off a game on the Jaguars' 2024-25 home schedule as the heat from the cocktail sauce rushed through their body.

The results, as you might imagine, were fantastic.

IU Indianapolis, formerly IUPUI, opens the season on Monday, Nov. 4 against IU Columbus at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. A New Year's Day game against Youngstown State will also be played at the Fairgrounds, with all other home games scheduled for "The Jungle" — the Jaguars' home arena.

The Jaguars' roster features five players from central Indiana and are looking to rebound from a 6-26 season last year.
