INDIANAPOLIS — The line up is set for the third annual Indy Classic on Dec. 14.
On Aug. 8, Indy Sports Corp announced that Purdue would face Texas A&M and Butler would play Wisconsin.
The games will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The times and TV information for the game will be announced at a later date.
The money raised by the Indy Classic goes to support Indy Sports Corp's mission.
Tickets for the Indy Classic will go on sale Friday, Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
“Welcoming four renowned basketball programs to Indianapolis is a testament to our commitment to growing the Indy Classic into a premier basketball event,” Indiana Sports Corp President Patrick Talty said. “The 2024 Indy Classic will showcase top-tier collegiate basketball, offering fans an unforgettable experience in the nation’s most celebrated basketball state.”
The classic is a partnership between Indy Sports Corp, Pacers Sports & Entertainment and Russ Potts Production Inc.
“The Indy Classic has quickly become a favorite of fans here in Indianapolis and beyond, and we are excited to welcome these exciting programs for another fantastic afternoon of incredible college basketball action,” said Mel Raines, president and chief operating officer of Pacers Sports & Entertainment.
