Participants are invited to “move their feet so others can eat,” combining fitness with philanthropy.

Wheeler Mission has been a cornerstone of aid in Indianapolis for 130 years, offering nightly shelter and meals to 700–900 individuals. From emergency services to long-term addiction recovery programs, the organization ensures care for those in need. Brian Crispin, representing Wheeler Mission, emphasized the life-saving importance of their work, especially as colder months make homelessness even more perilous.
Community support is essential for Wheeler’s doors to remain open, from financial contributions to volunteering. Crispin noted that every effort, large or small, helps sustain their mission.

Dash Into Action with Drumstick Dash
The event, featuring its mascot Dash, will kick off Thanksgiving morning at 9 a.m. Participants can run or walk through the streets of Broad Ripple.
