Horseshoe Indianapolis' Indiana Champions Day is October 28th.
Rachel McLaughlin, Racing Analyst & Production Manager for the Indiana Derby shares, "We have thoroughbred and quarter horse racing. And there will be a little bit of both. There's 4 thoroughbred stakes, 4 quarter horse stakes, big racing, lots of money on the line. And it's our second biggest day."
McLaughlin explains this is a kid friendly event. "There is free admission and for the adults, we have drink specials... We also have a cigar rolling station and we have a playground for the kids... It really is a family fun, free event." Champions Day will also include t-shirt tosses, a photo booth, and face painting.
