Bosma provides solutions and creates opportunities for those navigating vision blindness. "Our mission is to create opportunities to make sure those people can be independent and live their lives after they've lost their vision" explains Lisa Pace, Vice President of External Affairs at Bosma.

Disability awareness month is celebrated during the month of March. Lisa shares her personal story and passion for supporting those with vision loss. "I lost my vision several years ago and before I was diagnosed with this disease, which was devastating - retinitis pigmentosa - I had never met anyone who was blind. So disability awareness month is a time where we can talk about disability and what people with disabilities can do."

Bosma needs your help. Brandon Wells, Executive Director of Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation, shares, "We just launched a campaign. Over the next year, we are going to raise a million dollars. So we definitely need your financial support... But there are also volunteer opportunities."
