INDIANAPOLIS — What are your plans for your eclipse glasses after the celestial event?
Maybe save them as a keepsake?
If you're planning to throw them away — wait! How about donating them instead?
Kids outside the U.S., who will experience an eclipse later this year, are in need of those glasses.
Eclipse Glasses USA is collecting used – but undamaged – eclipse glasses.
They'll send them to Latin American children for the October annular eclipse.
You can mail them out yourself or look for a location collecting them. They just need to be shipped by Aug. 1.
