Indianapolis - WIBC radio news anchor and reporter Curt Miller has died after a battle with cancer that he shared with Indianapolis-area radio listeners.
Miller was 52 when he died of pancreatic cancer at his home Monday.
He was diagnosed with advanced cancer in early January, but returned to work through March. He recorded a series of interviews about his illness, impending death and faith.
WIBC news director Sharon Alseth says Miller maintained his positive outlook even though he knew the end was nearing.
Miller was communications director for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Indianapolis for 1994 to 2002. He also recently completed a book about the Civil War.
Miller is survived by his wife, Cheryl, and four adult children.
