(WTHR) We've all seen those remote controlled drones - and maybe the occasional miniature plane - at the park.
But when you're flying a Saab Gripen XXL 1:2 scale model turbine jet, we're assuming you've made a pretty substantial financial commitment to your hobby.
So it must have been particularly distressing for these guys when their half-scale plane disintegrated during a flight. This was likely due to stress on the frame that caused the tail to break off. The plane then nosed up and broke apart.
