INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Internet sensation Grumpy Cat has died. She was 7.
Official Grumpy Cat accounts announced the news on social media.
"Some days are grumpier than others," the posts read.
Grumpy Cat's family said the cat died Tuesday after complications from a urinary tract infection. She died while her owner, Tabatha Bundesen was holding her.
"Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere," her family said.
