INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Redheads will soon be included in the emoji fun.
The newest batch of emoji are set to release on Tuesday, but don't expect to use them right away.
This new edition, which was announced in February, features over 150 new emoji.
Among some of the new emoji are new hairstyles for men and women, hot and cold faces, a party face and even a set of superheros.
Although the emoji will technically be available Tuesday, it also depends on when vendors decide to pick up the new symbols in their software updates.
Since Apple and Google traditionally release updates in the fall, that is likely when we can expect to get them on our phones.
After this new batch, there will be a total of 2,823 emoji available for use.
