WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTHR) – A visually impaired man took a bad fall off a Metro platform onto the tracks last week.
A surveillance camera at the Red Line's Medical Center Line caught the fall and response on video.
The man was walking along the platform when he stepped forward and fell off the edge.
He managed to get back up on his own before nearby passengers came to his aid.
Just in time, the pulled him back onto the platform as a train pulled up to the station.
The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
