CUTLERVILLE, Mich. (WTHR) — Every bride hopes her wedding day will be just as she dreamed it. For Audra Johnson, that's exactly what happened.
Audra and her new husband Jeff are catching attention — and pushback — on social media because of their wedding that was all about Making America Great Again. The couple even had a hashtag: #MAGAPatriotWedding
In fitting fashion, Audra and Jeff got married July 4. There was plenty of red, white and blue, guns, and odes to President Donald Trump.
After wearing a traditional white gown during the ceremony, Audra changed into another dress featuring "Make America Great Again" on the front, and a "Trump train" in the back.
On Facebook, Audra said she had gotten hateful comments, saying "the fun begins!"
The post included photos of people criticizing the ceremony and reception.
One person wrote, "They are going to regret this so hard core, and it makes me so happy."
