NUUK, Greenland (WTHR) - A stray cat in Greenland had a reaction her pregnancy reveal that would rival the best viral video.
Ulla, a 1-year-old cat that showed up at an animal shelter in Nuuk, had been putting on some pounds, so the staff took her to a veterniarian for a scan. The ensuing ultrasound revealed Ulla's big surprise - she was pregnant!
If that news surprised the shelter staff in the room, it blew Ulla away. Shelter board member shared a photo of the cat watching her ultrasound on a monitor, then giving a wide-eyed look of surprise toward the camera.
The shelter posted the photo to Reddit, with the caption "When you find you're pregnant" and it quickly went viral.
After Ulla is born, she and her kittens will all be spayed, per the shelter's adoption policy.
The shelter followed up with some good news. She's already found a new family to go home to and the shelter will look for homes for her kittens when they're ready, too.
