DALLAS, Texas (WTHR) — Just when we thought the Indiana State Fair had hit the jackpot of sweet treats with deep fried sugar creme pie, the Texas State Fair debuts a worthy challenger.
The cotton candy taco won the "most creative" category at the Big Tex Choice Awards. It's a graham cracker waffle cone stuffed with chocolate, toasted marshmallow and organic cane sugar cotton candy — only the finest, healthiest cotton candy for this snack. It's topped off with chocolate cookie crumbles, a marshmallow glaze and two chocolate cream-covered biscuit sticks with marshmallows.
The Texas State Fair doesn't begin until Sept. 28, but the choice award winners are announced early.
