AMARGOSA VALLEY, Nev. (WTHR) — Do aliens exist? Thousands of people in a Facebook event seem interested in finding out.

The event called "Storm Area 51. They can't stop all of us," has gained the attention of more than 1 million people across the globe.

The attendees of the group plan to storm Area 51, a highly classified area of Edwards Air Force Base, where some believe aliens exists inside the facility walls. That's the goal — to "see them aliens," the group's creator wrote.

Although it seems the page was originally created as a joke, it's attracted the masses.

The description on the page also mentions "Naruto" running, a reference to Japanese Manga. The characters in the anime show run with their arms held outstretched behind their backs.

The page has more than 1 million attendees for the event, which is planned for 3 a.m. Sept. 20 (again, we don't actually think this is happening).

Area 51 has been the center of conspiracy theories for years and many believe that they hold aliens within their facilities.
