INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Can you imagine what the Uber Eats driver thought when he was asked to deliver 32 Big Macs from McDonald's in a single order?
World-champion competitive eater Joey Chestnut said it has been a dream of his since he was a kid to eat as many Big Macs as he could.
As many know, the popular sandwich features two 100 percent pure beef patties and Big Mac sauce sandwiched between a sesame seed bun with pickles, lettuce, onions and American cheese.
"I remember being a little kid, and they would sell two Big Macs for $4, and me and my grandpa would get four of them. I'd end up eating three," Chestnut said in a YouTube video.
Chestnut begins the challenge by nearly fitting the first Big Mac in his mouth without swallowing a bite.
As the video continues, you can see Chestnut begin to sweat, take smaller bites and use the water more frequently to wash it down.
After 38 minutes and 15 seconds, Chestnut became the world record holder for most Big Macs eaten in a single sitting — totaling 18,016 calories.
Chestnut adds this to his previous world records of 182 chicken wings in 30 minutes, 74 Nathan's Hot Dogs and buns in 10 minutes and 141 hard boiled eggs in eight minutes.
And yes, Chestnut tipped the Uber Eats driver.
