CLINTON COUNTY, Indiana — Indiana State Police troopers are investigating a police shooting Monday morning near Interstate 65 and State Road 28 in Clinton County.
State police confirmed to 13News that a suspect involved in the incident is dead. No troopers were injured in the incident, which occurred around 10:40 a.m. Nov. 18.
An ISP spokesperson said the situation began an on the interstate and ended at a gas station near the State Road 28 (Frankfort) exit.
The spokesperson said at least one shot was fired during the incident, and investigators are still determining who fired the initial shot. The spokesperson said it wasn't immediately clear if the suspect was shot by police.
Clinton County is approximately 50 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis.
